Port St. Joe - Come see the award winning documentary in historic Port Theatre before the renovations start.

Details

Come see the award winning documentary in historic Port Theatre before the renovations start.

When hurricanes threaten the existence of a historic lighthouse, the residents of a small Florida town must band together to save it. Festival programmers have called this humorous and contemplative documentary a "nuanced portrait of different people with different agendas, wishes, and dreams. By hearing all of these various stories, the film meditates on fighting city hall, age, mortality, and the ways of life on the Gulf Coast, ways of life that are in the process of vanishing." The film was directed by husband-wife duo Clayton & Lisa Long, whose credits include HBO's The Newsroom, NBC's The Office, and content for PBS and Fox Digital.
