This celebration will include dancing, food, informational booths, raffles and much much more! This new event will take the place of our monthly Winter Receptions. We aim to give you the best information possible while on your visit to Gulf County and this celebration will do just that. With informational booths from many of our businesses and local community organizations plus tasty food from our local restaurants you will be sure to learn more about Gulf County and find things to do during your entire visit.

Start in the Eastern Time Zone in Port St. Joe and St. Joe Beach, then travel west just five minutes to Mexico Beach and celebrate all over again an hour later in the Central Time Zone. Free shuttle buses run continuously from Port St. Joe to Mexico Beach and everywhere in between. Two firework shows as well, one in each time zone!

Eagle Presentation by Lynda White. Lynda White recently retired from Audubon FL after 14 years as the Eagle Watch Coordinator. She recruited and trained citizen science volunteers nest monitors and traveled the state with a non-releasable bald eagle, conducting educational programs. Lynda’s presentation is outstanding for learning about this incredible bird and the habitat that it lives in. Participants will learn about the lifespan, diet and migratory patterns of eagles, along with education about the many reasons bald eagles are honored as United States’ national bird.
